classic NP and maybe not seen as much as were the GP7/9s. Or at least not by me! I guess it just depended upon the part of the railroad that you were seeing at the time! In other words, different engines ran in different places, and not just anywhere at any time! Different things were in different places and so there was "a taste and a flavor" to things, and that was part of the fun of it! |

for whatever reason, we tended to see more of the NP in Duluth than the GN in Superior! Why?! I dont know, it just was how it was and how it happened "in those days"! |
