Album Info:"In the old days" we called it Rule G. I find that the effects of these night pictures might be interesting. But they are an example of, if there was not that which the "old heads" and the old rule books called--- Rule G. I put them in here to show "Why drugs and alcohol do NOT and must NOT ever be allowed to work here"! Knowing that to be true, here is the story behind the pictures. An eastbound grain train, was stopped on the main track between the ctc siding switches at Bangor East commonly called Rockland. I suppose that they had some kind of air, brake or engine trouble or perhaps the crew had died on their hours of service. By the time my engineer friend on Amtrak 7, "the Empire Builder" arrived, they were the third westbound train to go through the siding. If there were any other eastbound trains, I'm sure that they were not happy about wherever it was they got left "back in the weeds"! You can perhaps make out that Amtrak 7 took siding on a red over green or Diverging Clear. You can see the headlight of the eastbound after Amtrak's engine passed them on the siding. If one does NOT have clear senses and is inhibited in any way, this is clearly NOT the place to be!
