Album Info:It was another one of those days--- when Amtrak 8 was late! In fact, when they finally went by our house on the Soo/ CP east of La Crosse, at Milwaukee mp 263 at 117 pm they were 2 hours and 14 minutes late! Sometimes there are problems on "the mighty BNSF" that is on the old Great Northern--- after all they do come across the Rocky mountains, and then across North Dakota and western Minnesota. Sometimes there is bad weather with lots of cold, ice and snow. Sometimes, Amtrak has engine trouble when it really gets cold, at the time of the year when these things happen! But if one has the time, and is able to wait for them, it can be worth it!
